The Mulberry, a restaurant and public house in Chiddingfold, Surrey, has recently benefited from a multi-zone audio installation from Guildford Sound & Light.

DAS Factor 5's and Factor 8's were complimented by two 12" Sub Bass units to provide a high quality background music system capable of higher volume levels in the evenings. The sound can be controlled via the Cloud CX233 Zoner. This allows the venue to be split into a number of different zones. The owner can choose the level of volume in each zone together with a choice of output. Whilst major Sporting events can be shown in the bar areas, background music can be played in the restaurant.

Through this one control unit, every aspect of the venue's audio can be controlled.

Guildford Sound and Light's General Manager Kieron Scott was happy with the results.

'Our client did not have a huge budget but knew he wanted a premium brand of speakers. Although not as widely used as other brands such as JBL, the DAS speakers sound great and our client loved the look of them. Together with the zoning and amplification, we were able to supply and install an outstanding system which is easy for any of the staff to use.'
