Guildford Sound & Light : Sports Venue Related Product Ranges

Audio Systems / Paging Systems

Sports venues often have a remit for audio equipment that can play both music and announcements. Guildford Sound & Light can specify and install audio systems integrated with media players and paging equipment that will provide your building with the most flexible set of options. This will allow you to play background music with the ability to make announcements in any zone at the push of a button. Of course, if at any point a fire alarm is activated, this will interrupt the audio system and if required, play a pre-recorded evacuation message.

Headphone Distribution Systems

Headphone distribution systems allow you to give your visitors the ability to plug headphones into small control units (usually strapped to gym equipment) and then chose what they listen to (from sources that you provide) and also the volume. Through these systems you can give you visitors the choice between listening to a vairety of video or TV sources that you may have displayed on screens in the room, as well as other audio only sources such as radio stations or your own choice of pre-recorded media. Guildford Sound & Light have supplied these systems to several sports venues and are happy to consult with you on your requirements.

Radio Mics

There are many different radio mics on the market today and they vary dramatically in quality and price. When it comes to sourcing radio mics that are suitable for the variety of applications found in sports venues, finding the right product for the job is of the utmost importance. For instance, aerobics/dance instructors need specialist radio mics that can withstand being knocked and the moisture from perspiration, whereas radio mics for announcers in sports arenas need a long range and to be well shielded against interference. Guildford Sound & Light have a lot of experience when it comes to radio mics, so we know which ones are suitable for each job.

General Lighting / Safety Lighting

Whether it's the day to day lighting that illuminates the inside and outside areas of your venue in normal conditions, or the lighting that leads the way to safety in the event of an emergency; Guildford Sound & Light can provide you with everything you need. From the first control panel to the last light bulb, we have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to specifying systems that incorporate both the afore mentioned types of lighting and more. When it comes to the safety of your staff and patrons you should accept no compromises, which is why you should choose Guildford Sound & Light to help you design and install these systems.

Audio Zoning Systems

Sports venues often have many different rooms, each with different types of audio and visual equipment that require different types of media being fed to them from different sources. This can all be difficult to manage and extremely complicated to add to or change whilst trying to maintain an acceptable level of flexibility. Guildford Sound & Light have a sound background in specifying and installing zoning equipment that makes light work of routing all of your input sources (such as media players or portable equipment) to your various output devices (such as speakers, plasma screens or announcement systems). Zoning systems also give you the ability to independently control the volume in all of your areas.

Media Players

Guildford Sound & Light have access to a variety of products that allow you to play audio and visual files, as well as the plasma screens and other types of display that you would use to show them. The media files can be automatically downloaded from internet based libraries, or uploaded by yourself from your personal collection. This does away with having an untidy pile of CDs or DVDs that end up getting lost or damaged. It also allows you to create your own playlist of informative or promotional material to be viewed on plasma screens and other types of display that you have in your building.
