Mojaxx from DJcity reviews the Pioneer DJ XDJ-700.
The DJM-250MK2 has inherited some of the professional features of the popular DJM-900NXS2, such as the Magvel crossfader and Sound Color FX filter. Straightforward controls, a clear layout, and dedicated 3-band isolators let you scratch and mix instinctively.
The dithering technology on this mixer results in warm, high-quality audio from both analogue and digital sources. Plus its built-in sound card lets you connect the mixer to your PC/Mac and use rekordbox dj to perform with CDJs. Or hook up the DJM-250MK2 to turntables and use rekordbox dvs in combination with our control vinyl to scratch and mix with digital files stored on your computer.
- Speakers & Headphones
The DM-50D from Pioneer DJ deliver a rich, punchy bass sound with presets for DJing or music production. Building on the success of the DM-40 these new speakers feature a 5 inch woofer and extra power thanks to an advanced Class D amplifier with DSP control. A variety of inputs make it easy to connect these up at home or in the studio and a simple switch on the back toggles between DJ mode and Production mode to automatically create the best sound for each application.
By taking on board feedback from DJs and analysing many different styles of monitoring, Pioneer DJ made sure their latest DJ headphone range includes all the features needed for performing at every level. Thanks to the high-quality audio design inherited from Pioneer DJ's previous professional DJ headphones, you can enjoy distortion-free monitoring, even at high volumes, wherever you go. Hear your tracks loud and clear in the booth and on the move with the HDJ-X5.
The HDJ-X headphones are designed to be flexible. Their swivel mechanism allows you to wear them comfortably, whichever way you prefer, for long periods of time. No need to worry about bumps and knocks during transport as these DJ headphones can handle severe conditions and heavy use. They even cleared the US Military Standard Shock test.
